Long Week (Semana 81)

Rocio!!!!

Heyyy como estan mis amigos??? 

This week has been a long crazy week! To start it off we went to the temple with Rocio and it was so flipping cool!! I loved it so much!!! It was also really catch up with the her and actually talk to her because I haven't seen her since November of 2017! It was the best thing ever!!

Also this week we had the cambios so we had to go to the airport for the new guys which is always super fun and train them a bit, helping to get them adjusted. We also got to say goodbye to the old guys that were going home and I got to say goodbye to some good friend like Hermana Castillejos and Elder Cudney and of course Elder Diaz. It was pretty cool to chill with them for one last time. 

We didn't have that much time to work here in our area to work but in the little time we did have we worked super hard and we some some miracles! To start off we found an inactive family that we are helping become active and we are going to help their 3 kids get baptized. We also found a family of 5 that went to church with us on Sunday! Overall we had a great week and we are going to keep working to see more and more miracles!! 

I know that this is the Lords work and that He will always bless us! We just have to have faith!!!

CAMBIOS!! (Semana 80)

 I'm on top of the world

Hey y'all how’s everything going? Today we had some changes and I'll be staying here as assistente and my new companion is Elder Alfaro!! Woohoo! It's super funny because I trained him like 9 months ago when he got here to the mission. This transfer will be super fun and we are ready to go to work!!!

Nothing new has really happened this week. Just working on finding some awesome people and trying to help them come unto Christ. We are hoping for a ton of success these next few weeks and so happy to be working! We don't have much time today because we are going to go to the temple with Rocio (my first convert). Also next week is going to be the super crazy week because we have to go to the airport and everything so we are writing today. 

I was thinking of a scripture that I like a lot that always helps me when I feel tired or stressed. 

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Out here Ballin!! (Semana 79)

I don't have a lot of time so I'll just send a lot of pictures and give a few highlights.

Well to start off I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings like 4 times this week so that was lit! This week we also had a Leadership Council and Diaz and I had to do some training so that was fun. We also had divisiones with the zone leaders from Moderna, Elder Gillen and Elder Ramos and then we had some more divisiones with Elder Powley and Elder Joachin so it has been a pretty busy week.

And to make it even more busy and awesome Esmeralda got baptized this week!!! Woohoo! It was so awesome. What was even cooler is that she told us she wanted to get baptized this weekend on Wednesday so we had to plan everything in like 2 days so it was a little miracle! 

We have some other cool people that we've been finding and teaching and we are hoping for a lot of success here in Contry.

Today we also got to go to Chipinque, a super cool mountain here with a few guys from the ward. It was super sick and an all in all great day.

HEYYYY! (Semana 78)

This week was so so awesome!!!! Elena got baptized!!!! WOOHOO!!!

She is so awesome and she was so ready. We are going to keep working with her husband Roberto. The baptism was really amazing and the Spirit was so so strong! We love this family so much and we are gonna to help them go to the temple soon!

This week we also had divisiones with Elder Walgren and Elder Chi from Mitras and it went really well. We learned a lot and had some good laughs. We also had intercambios with Valle Verde so it was also super fun . I went with my dude Elder Bringas out there in their area. We found some awesome people and taught some great lessons. I love this work!

Over all this week has been amazing week with a lot of work but a lot of fun as well. Today we went as a district to iHop to chow down on some all you can eat pancakes so that was good!
