Milagros! (Semana 90)

We Rayados
Well how is everyone?? This week has been such a fast week with lots of miracles, intercambios, the Tigres won, and  just a whole lot of fun! Hopefully I can explain everything thats happened.
To start off on Tuesday we were leaving our district council and going to grab a quick ice cream because it was super hot outside. As we were walking I get a call from this dude named Leandro asking to meet with us. He is a dude from Venezuela who has been living here in Monterrey for about 6 months. We talked a little and we set an appointment for the next day. That next day we had divisiones with the zone leaders from Anahuac so I got to work with Elder Hernandez. We went to the cita to talk with this dude and it was honestly so awesome. He asked us what he had to do so that he and his whole family can be baptized. He had been reading the Book of Mormon and even visited the temple a few times because he was interested. He then showed up to church by himself on Sunday which was so cool! This week we are going to be teaching him and his whole family and hopefully by June they will be baptized!
This week we also had divisiones with the zone leaders from Valle Verde. I went with my dude Elder James. He is kinda new as a zone leader but he is super cool! We worked pretty well during the day and at night we had to go to a baptismal interview for my guy Schenk. After the interview we hit up Spikes to grab so dope fries because thats just what you have to do as bros.
After that we headed over to Apodaca to work with Elder Benitez and Elder Tidwell which was exciting. We found some pretty cool kids and played soccer and basketball with them and because we won they are gonna go to church next week so that was cool jajaja.
We are still working with Erika and her brother and sister. They are super awesome and are going to go to church this week with us. We are also still teaching Pablo and hopefully by the month on July he will be ready for his baptism!

Well thats all I got!!

Starting to heat up! (Semana 89)

views
Well it is getting super hot out here and i am getting pretty tan but everything is going super well!! we are working really hard out here and we are finding some pretty cool people!
To start off we have been teaching a really cool girl named Erika. She's a single mom of baby twins. She really wants to change her life and start over again and to be a great example for her kids. She is planning on going to church with us this week and she is planning on getting baptized in a few weeks! We are also still working with Pablo but he is having some problems with his health and he has been out of town for a few days so thats pretty sad but we are going to keep working with him some more this week!
We also had a pretty cool experience this past week! We were walking up in the mountains and we were talking to people and what not and we were going to go up this one hill to visit someone up there but we felt like we shouldn't and so we kept walking and then all of the sudden we heard some gun shots and people running. We were super glad that the spirit was with us to protect and guide us because right after that as we kept walking a dude talked with us in the street and he wants us to start visiting him and he wants to start to go to church with us!! It was super cool!!!
I love the scripture that is in Doctrine and Covenants 84:42 which says "And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."
I really have seen the hand of the Lord in my time here and i really know that this is His work!
well thats all i got!!

Back to normal....Almost (Semana 88)

cool room we found in an abandoned building
What is up yall???
Everything is getting back to normal...kinda. This week we finished up all of the zone conferences which was pretty fun. We got to see everyone in the mission and I got to see some old peeps. It was fun to catch up with them and see how their missions are going. We talked about our purpose as missionaries and why we are here. We are here to help people to come unto Christ,  it really is a great task that we have!
We also had an awesome milagro with a brother that we are teaching named Pablo. We found him last week and he really wants to be baptized. He was waiting for us all Sunday morning to go to church and when we passed by for him he was super happy. He loved the church and wants to keep going. He is planning to be baptized the 1st of Junio! He is super awesome and is progressing really well!
Elder Alfaro and I are working super hard here in contry and we are seeing a bunch of milagros! We are talking with everybody that we come across and we a finding a bunch a people!
well that's all I got!
