Leandro got Baptized! (Semana 93)

baptism of Leandro
Hey y'all!! hows it all going???
Well I don't have that much time to write this week but let me tell you that it was a pretty awesome week! To start off on the first couple of days we had some training to do in some zone conferences so that was pretty cool! Then on Tuesday we had something awesome happen. We went to the house of Leandro and he told us that they are going to stay here in monterrey for a little longer and that he wanted to get baptized on saturday! So yeah we had a bunch of stuff to do for his baptism but everything turned out great! He was super happy! He said that he had a dream the night before his baptism and that in the dream I gifted him a pair of Jesus Sandels. He told me that we had led him to the path that he needs to be on by following Jesus Christ! It was super awesome! This week we will be working more with his family and hopefully they will follow this same path!
Like it says in 2 Nephi 31 19-21 This is the Way!

19 And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save.

20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

21 And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.

well thats all!

Long Week! (Semana 92)

post conference tacos
Hey y'all!!! como están??
This week was a super awesome but long and busy!! (just like every other week)
Tuesday we got to visit with all of the guys going home. It was awesome because I was able to chill with my dude Elder Riches. On Wednesday we had to wake up super early to take everyone to the airport and send them off to their homes. Right after that we had to head back to the Roma because we had a zone conference. It was a pretty good conference and we talked about how to be more successful missionaries. I also had the opportunity to share my testimony because it was my last zone conference. Crazy weird!! I feel like time has just been flying!
Thursday we went out to Apodaca to do some training out there then right after we headed up to Nuevo Laredo. It was super cool being up there getting to see some old faces and do some more training for the missionaries. I also got to work with my dude elder memmott who is super awesome. We had a great time and found some people who are really going to progress. We also ran into the Tropa De Infierno.  They are like the elite narcos.  They were in 4 new Ford Raptors with turrets, filled with dudes dressed as military with cool guns. They told us to take a different way home and not to go certain colonia that night. They were totally looking out for us. I honestly love Nuevo Laredo!
We got back to Monterrey on Saturday night just in time to run around and invite some people to church. Yesterday some of those people actually came which is awesome and this week we will be working hard with them.

Well thats all i got this week!!

111... (Semana 91)

SELFIE with President
So to start things of it is so flipping hot here! We got up to 111 degrees on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so yeah we got cooked!
Alright this week we had some pretty cool stuff but it was also super busy! To start it off we worked with Elder Duke and Elder Bringas from Linares. We had some good fun and talked with a bunch of people. At the end we had a super awesome lesson with la familia Cespedes about the plan of salvation and they loved it. At the end we got to eat some awesome Venezuelan food! It was so good! The next day we had Leadership Council with all of the zone leaders and sister leaders. It was super cool to see all of the awesome friends. We talked about how to be better as missionaries and how to be a good example in all we do. We also talked about our future family and how to make it happy! It was actually pretty awesome. Afterwards I worked with Elder Memmot who's the new zone leader in Nuevo Laredo. We played some awesome games to contact people and we had some really cool outcomes and we talked with a bunch of people. Then on Friday and Saturday we worked a lot, visiting a lot of people and taught a bunch of lessons. It was honestly so hot though.
It was cool though because on those days right after the food we went to a members tienda to help them out a bit and eat some ice cream with them.
We've been teaching a super awesome girl named Erica. She is a really cool youth who has some awesome baby twins. We taught her a little about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and she really wants to get baptized! She really wants to be an example for her kids and younger siblings. We are going to be helping her a lot these next few weeks!
Well thats all I got!

Junio: El Mes Super Loco (Semana 90)

really long day of work (we got home almost at 12 from the offices...)
Well it is officially Junio!!!! Like what!?! It's so crazy!! Time is flying.  This month will be full of zone conferences, interviews, consejos, and the new President gets here!! so yeah its going to be exciting!
Starting off we had a pretty solid week with a lot of service. We had a couple of pretty fun divisiones with the zone leaders from san nicolas and mitras! On wednesday I worked with Elder Powley, this super cool dude from Utah. For dinner the four of us made some pretty great tacos de trompo with coke. It was so good! Then on Thursday we had to clean out a few houses. We had to clean them up and then take everything out and bring them to the offices. On Friday we worked again in divisiones with elder chi and elder ramos. I went with elder ramos. We had a pretty awesome lesson with the family that we found. We talked about baptism and the importance of it. They all loved the lesson and are preparing for their baptism on the 22nd of June.
On Saturday we had an awesome opportunity to take part in an activity for the kids in the stake. We got to sing for them and help them in their "Missionary for a Day" activity. It was pretty fun and afterwards the Bishop took us out to eat chinese food. Later that day we had another service opportunity to help out a hermana to scrub her ceiling to clean off the mold. Afterwards she made us some really good burritos!
I also just finished the Book of Mormon again and I love the invitacion and promise that comes in the last chapter of Moroni which says:
"4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."
I invite all of y'all to read the Book of Mormon and ask God if it is true. And if you ask you will receive an answer. I know that it is true!
Well thats all I got for this week!
