Last E-mail - What I have learned in Mexico! (Semana 96)

we climbed up the Cerro de Silla
Well just so y'all know this might very well be the last email I will write here on the mission.  I don't go home yet but I probably won't be able to write next week because of the transfers.

This week we had some intercambios on Tuesday to help out a companionship out in Fundidora. I went with Elder Arias to their area. It was actually pretty sweet because we taught some pretty good lessons and also ate some carne asada with some people in the street that invited us!
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we had to work quite a bit in the offices which was good.  Surprisingly, we were still able to get some work done in our area with what little time we had.  We are working with a girl named Daniela and her mom Beatriz. They are doing really well and hopefully will get baptized on Saturday!  We also are teaching a few other people that are doing super great and will hopefully keep progressing these next few weeks.

Well I've been here in Mexico for 2 years now and it has been AMAZING! It has honestly been the best years of my life and I have learned so much!
Here are some of the things I have learned while serving my Father in Heaven and the great people of Mexico:

1. I have learned to LOVE México - I have come to love all things Mexican!  The language, the people, the food, the music, the culture....
2. I have learned how important prayer is and how much earnest prayer helps in all times of our life.
3. I have really understood that I am a child of God and that He really does love me and YOU!  I have felt His love for others during my associations here.
4. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, that He really suffered and died for me and my sins.
5. I have learned the importance of doing the small and simple things like praying, reading the scriptures, and going to church. That they really do make ALL the difference.
6. I have learned that the Book is Blue and the Church is True! The Book of Mormon is true, and by reading it we will draw closer to God!

7. Finally, I have learned that I can do hard things through Christ the Lord.

Time is ticking..... (Semana 95)

Buenas tardes y'all!!!
Hows everyone doing?? Here has been super cool! This week was super awesome with a lot of sun and a lot of rain!
Starting off on Tuesday we went up to Nuevo Laredo so that the new President could meet all of them up there. It was pretty sad saying good bye to some of my close friends up there. We then drove back down that same day and talked with the President and his wife, they even took us out to Carls Jr. to eat.
On Wednesday we had a pretty weird day. President called me that morning and asked if I could go with to San Nicolas and then to Apodaca to help  him find his way around. So I went with him and his son and just had a super fun time. Up in Apodoca I got to chill with my dudes Elder Cuellar and Elder Hernandez. They are some good friends and we got to catch up on the good old days. On Thursday we had our Leadership Council which was pretty cool and a little different. Since president is new and didn't really know how to do a leadership council he asked me to do it all. I had to prepare everything and lead it. It was actually pretty neat and he even ordered pizza for all of us! He is super awesome!!
We've been having to spend quite a bit of time in the offices and with other missionaries which is kinda rough because its taking up a lot of time to be working but we are seeing miracles in our area. We were able to bring Daniela and her mom Beatriz to church this week and we are going to be helping them progress to their baptism, hopefully at the end of this month. It awesome to see the hand of God in our lives and we should always take note of when we see it.
well thats all i got!

Presidente Isaguirre Arrives

Happy 4th of July!! (lowkey forget that it was a thing...) (Semana 94)

chillin in the offices!
What is up my guys!!!! How all y'all doing? Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!! I totally forgot about it because nobody did anything here jajaja
Alright so to start things off we had a super busy week! On Tuesday we had a meeting with our new president and then we went out to work. On Wednesday we went out to Anahuac to visit them, Apodaca, and San Nicolas so that they could meet the new President and his family. On Thursday we met with Mitras, Roma, and Valle Verde and then on Friday we went down to visit Linares. Its Been super awesome because we have gotten to meet up and see all of the missionaries and reconnect with all the old homies.
We have been working with Maria Elena and her family for the little time that we have in our area. They are doing really great and are learning a lot and have a baptismal date for the end of this month! We are going to keep working with them and some other people that we have found. That is one thing that i have seen in the mission, that God always blesses us for our faith and diligence. So yeah we always have to have faith and work!

Well I got to go!! I'll see y'all in 3 weeks!
