| last dinner with the old district and axel |
So this past week has been a little crazy it actually just
flew by. Well on Tuesday I went to the offices to go meet my new companion. His
name is Elder Alfaro and he is from El Salvador. After the little meeting we
had there with president we headed back to our areas to get to work. Oh side
note, I got to see my boy Schenck in the offices, he is training here in
Apodaca too. Super Dope.
So we had a great days work on Wednesday, showing my comp
the area and teaching him the mission. We put some work in knocking doors right
off the bat. It was a fun experience and my new comp is learning a bunch! Its
always a great experience to train a new missionary. It can be hard at times
but it is super fun!!
This week I had to give an impromptu training in the
district meeting thanks to elder diaz and elder taylor telling me i had to do
it last minute...but don't worry it turned out ok jajaja. We also had Zone
Conference this week to talk about all of the changes in the mission and how I
am now going to be part of a different mission. I will be going to the Mexico
Monterrey West Mission starting on Saturday. Super crazy la verdad!! We will
see what all we can do!
On Sunday we had Stake Conference and we talked a lot about
Ministrar. It is to care for those around you. To serve them and love them. It
was a great conference and we learned a bunch. President Maucotel even invited
all of the missionaries up to the front to introduce ourselves to the whole
stake so that was pretty cool.
Well I dont have that much time today so that’s it. Just
gonna leave this quick little scripture that i love. I finished the Book of
Mormon this week so I just want to leave y’all with one of the last verses.
Moroni 10:32
32 Yea, come unto Christ, and
be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all
ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness,
and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his
grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in
Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise
deny the power of God.
les amo y les extraño!!!
con amor
