Nuevo Laredo....basically Texas (Semana 52)

Howdy Y'all!!!!
Well this was quite a weird and awesome week!! On Tuesday Alfaro, Norman, and I hopped on a bus for 3 hours and headed off to Nuevo Laredo! It was quite a change to tell y'all the truth. It’s a little bit hotter and lot flatter here so that’s fun jaja.  We also have bikes!! Woohoo!!
So Alfaro and I got here and opened the area, which means we literally know absolutely nothing...our area, the members, the investigadores (well we didn’t have any lol,), how to get to church, or anything, but little by little we are learning our way around and finding people!! It is a great experience and going to take a lot of work but we've got this!!!
We actually are already seeing miracles here!! On Saturday we found a really awesome family of less active members and their kids who aren’t members! It was really cool and they are pretty awesome! We taught them all and invited them to be baptized and they said yes!! So we are gonna be working with them a bit this week!! Then last night we had another awesome experience!! We were walking home (bc our bicis broke down) and this super awesome couple pulled up and gave us a ride to their house because they live by us. They invited us in and gave us some tamales and wanted to listen to us! They were super nice and said they have been trying to put God first in their lives right now! It was such and amazing experience and we are really excited to keep teaching them and being their friends!
There are a lot of good things going on for us here in Nuevo Laredo and we are gonna do all we can!!! We are just gonna trust in the Lord and do our part!!!
Well I got to go...we are about 30 minutes from our house and on bikes.  We have to be in the house by 8 p.m. nightly lol.

ps. So its basically like I am in Texas because all the cars have Texas plates, people speak English, and I can use dollars instead of pesos...so yeah its crazy. Oh and I'm like 15 mins from the border.
