Well I'm doing great done here in Monterrey!!! This week has
been pretty crazy with visiting all of the zones for their conferences and
having to train the missionaries and still trying to work hard in our own area.
Let's just say that I was pretty exhausted. Today we didn't even have a full
pday because of visiting zone conferences, but it has been a really awesome
week.
This week we also headed up to Nuevo Laredo for a few days
to do their conference and work with the zone leaders up there. It was super
fun and it was also awesome because I got to see the family that I had found
and taught the night before their baptism!! We got to talk a bit and it was
great to see how far they have come in the gospel!
Elena is doing really well and is ready for her baptism!
Roberto is also working really hard to get baptized on the 2nd of march. He was
able to drop his addictions for a week and now he is going for a second one. We
had the opportunity to fast with them and he said that it really helped him to
make the changes. I also love the scripture found in Ether 12:27 -
"And if men come unto me I will show unto them their
weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is
sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble
themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become
strong unto them."
We shared this scripture with Roberto and Elena and they
absolutely loved it! It tells us that we all have weaknesses so that we can
humble ourselves and come unto Christ so that they may become strong. I have a
bunch of weaknesses but I know the Savior can help me become strong as I come
unto Him.
Well, like I said it's been a crazy busy week and I've got
to go but I love y'all lots!!!
