This week was a pretty solid week of work. We found an
awesome family this week with some of the best people I have ever taught. They
are 2 kids, one has 9 and the other has 8. We talked with them and their older
sister in the street and we told them we were going to pass by the next day. We
gave them a little booklet to read and we left. The next day we went to visit
them and they had read the booklet and even wrote down the questions they had!
They understood almost everything that they had read!! We taught them a little
bit more and how to pray then left. We went back two days later and the little
boy who has 9 had taught his whole family how to pray.... it was so cool! We
are gonna keep helping them and see what happens.
We also are going to have the baptism of the family Lara
this Saturday! It's gonna be super awesome! I love this family and its been
such an awesome experience helping them come back to the church and help their
kids be baptized! The ward is helping a lot and we are so so excited for this
week!
This is one of my favorite scriptures and i just happened to
be reading it this week, its Moroni 10:32
“Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and
deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all
ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his
grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if
by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power
of God.”
I love that it invites all of us to come unto Christ. Its
that simple. Its not easy, but its simple. And as a missionary I am here to to
help other come unto Him! I am really honestly super happy for the opportunity I have to be here its the most fulfilling experience that I have every had in my life! Its so exhilarating!! Love you all have a great week!
