So we got transfer calls this morning and I am staying here
in Mirador 1. Elder Diaz is sadly leaving and is going to be the new assistant
to the president. He is pretty sad that he has to leave. Me too. I was with him
for 6 months! That's so crazy!
Ok, so this past week Violeta was baptized!! She was a girl
that we were teaching and she moved to a different area but we were still able
to go to her baptism! She is so amazing and was so happy to be baptized! She
loves learning about Jesus and wants to follow His example. She even reads the
Book of Mormon and the Bible to her 2 younger brothers! Honestly she is so
awesome!!!
Some sad news is that Jenifer, this girl we are teaching,
had to have surgery this week. Her appendix burst and she had a bad infection
but she is recovering very well now. I was able to give her a blessing before
she went to the hospital which was very spiritual and she was able to get
through all of the operation easily and without any problems. Her baptism was
going to be next week but she is still on bed rest but we are hoping for the
last week of December she will be all good to take this important step in her
life!
Elder Diaz and I went hard this last week and we found some
dope people to teach! One of them is named Cynthia and she is so awesome. Her
sister is a member of the first ward that I was in here in Nuevo Laredo. She
told us that she really wants to learn about the gospel and is willing to
follow the invitations that we give her to read, pray, and go to church. She
really wants to be baptized and have more peace in her life! She is so
amazing!
That's all I got for today! I have to go to the bus station
to send off all the missionaries that are leaving Nuevo Laredo.
les amo y les extraño
con amor
